"How dare you! Did I say anything about a wedding?" the man on the throne sprang from the throne, and said in a low questioning voice.
Herald got too excited and the courage was still in him so he asked in puzzlement, "if there wouldn’t be a wedding, why didn’t you kill her for your spirit essence? That day? You had the..."
The word sex, he never dared to say it loud, but he was absolutely sure that they did it!
Because that day the little monsters outside the hall heard the miserable screams from that girl, and saw the satisfied expression on his face when he came out.
Of course they did it!
In that case, a man should have the courage to take his responsibility!
Herald was mad! His king was acting all scum! Scum he is!
"What? Since when do I have to report to you?" Another ever-gloomy answer rang at Herald ears, and went directly into his heart. It scared him.
He backed off and shook his head, "no your majesty, never. I was just wondering where is that human girl now. The servants have not seen her in the palace. The Monde... is not like human world, she is human and wouldn’t live as long if there are not food and water for maybe two days."
"Well! You seem to care about her a lot!"
Another answer even gloomier struck him again, so Herald took one more step back. He was just trying to make up something to push the conversation forward when he looked up and saw Adalwolf’s cold gloomy face suddenly became rigid, with subtle indication of panic.
Herald wanted to pinch his thigh to wake himself. How could this expression ever appear on his king’s face?
And at that time Adalwolf disappeared from where he’d stand...
In the cave
Adalwolf appeared in a rush beside her bed and saw her lying there, faint weak breath, eyes closed, pale face, chapped lips seeping with beads of blood.
His heart sunk. He put his hand against her forehead.
Her hot forehead made his hands shrank, "dying?"
The word dead made him distraught, "don’t you dare to die! I’m not done torturing you!"
Without a second thought, he picked her up from the bed, and disappeared within a spell cast.

The magnificent Delmont Palaces
Under the gate of the most luxurious palace, there was a red haired man of wretched appearance squatted under the large bonsai.
When he saw a white mustached old man with a medical kit on his back hurried out, he rush by and called him, "stop! You old turtle, stop!"
The old man who was just called an old turtle stopped there at once, turned to where the voice had come from, and greeted him right away, "your grace, I greet your grace. What can I do for your honorable?"
"It must have been thousands of years since your last medical business?" Herald popped beside him.
This old turtle was the only one who was stupid enough to learn medication in the Monde; it was hard for a turtle to train himself to became into a monster, yet not very intelligent to acquire a skill of a profession that was not needed in the Monde, a doctor!
Insane it is. Monsters would never get fatal diseases like cancer or what; basically when they got injured, the lightly ones healed themselves, and seriously injured just died.
Herald had been ridiculing him for years, but never had he imagined that the old turtle’s expertise would come in handy one day! He inquired worriedly, "how is it? That human girl inside, is she dead?"
"You grace, that girl is not dead, but she is having a terrible fever and highly dehydrated, with bruises everywhere. She is close to death."
Herald held his breath and roared at him, "Incompetence! You shouldn’t leave before you completely bring her back to life! The king has a heart of steel, but you should have a doctor’s kind one!"
That old turtle was overwhelmed by the rage and only after quite a while did he lift his head, trembling, and wiped all the spit from his face, patted his medical kit and explained, " Your grace, I did! The girl’s life is out of danger, but some issues still remain, and that’s not good!"
"Then why don’t you cure her before you get out?!" Herald roared again.
The doctor shrugged helplessly with a bitter smile, "you grace, it’s not that I don’t want to, but the king won’t allow me!"
"His majesty is psychopathic to this far! She was tortured and almost lost her life, and he won’t allow you to cure her?!" Herald kept stamping around and his anger was inexpressible now.
"No, not like that. It’s um, the remaining sickness was private. I, I am a very old man, so the king won’t allow me!"
"um, private?" Herald touched his chin and pondered.
That old turtle gave a creepy smile saying ‘you know what I mean’.
As expected, Herald realized, and wondered, "his majesty is a brute! She’s so tiny and... he was like an old virgin who just had his first taste of a..." Herald realized the in-appropriation in his words and swallowed the left.
However, that old turtle didn’t see the risk and took it from him, "tell me about it!"
Herald got worried at once, "then what do we do? Human life is fragile like a piece of china, will there be any danger if she s kept untreated?"
The turtle wave the worries, " the king diagnosed her himself, I mean, he checked as I asked, then I was asked to leave the room after I’d given the prescription. I guess the king should have given her the right examination, so with the medicine, the girl would soon be well."
"Sure, of course..." Herald wiped his sweat and found it a false alarm. He gave the white bearded old man a order, "whenever the girl feels not uncomfortable, you gotta come as soon as possible. From the king’s attitude to her, she might be the future Delmont queen. Make sure she’s well treated."
"That’s true..." the turtle stroke his beard and nodded approval.
Meanwhile, on the royal bed of the king, lay a poor weak girl.
That girl was Aster who came back from the hand of death.
She’d been diagnosed by the monster doctor, her fever and dehydration were temporarily under control. It’d be alright when she woke up and drunk the herb tea.
There was only one matter, concerning her private part.
Aster was still in coma and had absolutely no idea that her quilt would be lifted once again.
This time, was for the medicine.
