Jane tried to get rid of his hand, but it was caught by William tightly. She found that William was so normal at the table although he became so naughty under the table. His white and long fingers kept scratching her palm, so she was so itching.

Jane flushed the face and glanced at William secretly and angrily. However, her expression seemed to be a kitten that had been annoyed by the master. Their little action was found by the rest of people in the room.

President Jones had done so many businesses and he had met all kinds of people and things. The businessmen should be equipped with good observation. Hence, he could judge that William and Jane must be couple.

“Hey, president Swift is young and promising; and you could keep Miss Blake such a beauty beside you, which is so admirable.”, president Jones shall be the elder of William and Jane, and he made fun of these two people to ease the atmosphere at the table. Secretary Lee and director Davis were also smart, and they knew what they should say.

“Miss Blake must be the wife of president Swift. President Swift is so lucky to have such a beautiful wife.”, secretary Lee smiled and chimed in with the president Jones. Long-term cooperation with Drawing Entertainment Company was so good and helpful for Sky Entertainment Company, so they must flatter.

Although he knew that it was just flattering, William was so satisfied when he heard president Johns that Jane was his wife.

He was so happy and excited when Jane’s face was flushed and her ears were red, but she did not refute. William thought he did mean something to Jane; or she would not be shy about those saying. Listening to the jokes, Jane was so shy and annoying. Summer sat next to Jane, so she could see the tricks played by William with Jane.

She raised a cup of tea and sipped to cover her sadness and unhappiness. Jane did not miss the hurting eyes of Summer, so she blamed herself for hurting Summer again.

“President Johns must be flattering. I am not that promising when I am compared with you. For the help of president Johns and your company, our company could have a promising development.” William was also good at flattering. He could feel the rigidity and unnatural complexion of Jane and she must be annoying for being shy, so he started to change the topic.

The people in the room were so smart to understand what William meant, so they stopped making fun of them.

Jane took a long breath when everybody stopped the flattering. She took her hand back when William did not notice. Then, she looked down and had the meal. She just wished for the ending of the meal.

However, president Johns was a real wine-lover. He loved to drink and he was also good at drinking. William was also good at drinking. He was in good emotion and he did respect president Johns, so they drank happily. The others could not stop them, so they could drink it off happily. Sometimes, they also drank with these two men. Jane had to wait for these two men finishing drinking so as to finish the meal.

Finally, president Johns was drunk, and he danced and sang. Secretary Lee and director Davis supported him to leave. William also drank so much, but he did not show it out. He sat on the chair silently when the people of Sky Entertainment left. He had no expression, so no one could judge whether he was drunk or not. However, it could be found that his eyes were so vicious when you looked at him carefully, so he was drunk obviously.

“President, it is so late, and we should leave.” Jane said carefully because Summer was still here.

Listening to Jane, William who had no impression on the chair was recovered.

“Jane, give me a hug.” He stretched for Jane as if he was asking for a hug.

Jane had not seen such childish William. The handsome face was so charming for the red skin. The low and steady voice became hoarse and more magnetic for drinking wine.

Such a mature man could say something childish and do ridiculous action, so Jane and Summer were so surprised.

“Stop it. Stand up. We should go back.” Jane put the hands of William down and she wanted to drag him up.

“No. I want a hug; or I won’t stand up.”

Jane confirmed that William must be drunk. She asked Summer who was at a loss to help her to drag William up and took him back. They tried so hard, but they could not drag William up.

Drunk William still kept the stubborn and amazing perseverance and he kept repeating, “Jane, hug me.” He really insisted for a hug. Summer was still here, so she tried so hard to keep distance with William to protect Summer. However, William kept yelling her name, which embarrassed Jane so much, and she did not know how to react.

Finally, Summer said, “Jane, you just hug him since the president insists; or we could not leave.”

Jane was released a little bit when Summer suggested her to hug him, and he seemed to be so ridiculous. Hence, she had to hug William to drag him up from the chair. It was not that hard for the cooperation of William, so she could drag him up easily.

“Go.” Jane took her bag and led William to the gate of the Orchid Garden. Summer was in front of them. William said nothing and he was so quiet. However, he walked unstably, and he really wanted to lay against Jane.

Jane wanted to put him away, but he buried his head on Jane and his face was so red, so he may be suffering a lot from being drunk. He kept murmuring, “Jane, Jane…” It sounded so poor, which could soften Jane’s heart.

Summer called for a taxi. She thought William must not drive under alcohol, and their two girls could not drive for drinking wine. Looking at William depending on Janes so much, Summer was so sad, but she could leave the one who did not love her.
