The Cinderella with no Crystal Stilettos

*Update every other day* In her past life, her beauty was destroyed and her skin got burnt in the fire when she saved a man. Her boyfriend, with whom she grew up, broke up with her! She thought she could still live and move on without love. At least she still had her beloved parents. However, her world grew darker when her ex-boyfriend showed up with his new girlfriend. He told her parents that she was not their biological daughter and that his new girlfriend was their true daughter. Why? She didn't understand. Later, she was kicked out of her family by her parents. Legs broken, she came across the man whom she had saved from the fire. His skin was also burnt. He was kicked out of his family, too. But fortunately, his legs remained intact. For the next ten years, they lived together in a shabby small room and supported each other. They did not have any recourse of income, so they spent most of their time collecting the garbage and selling them to earn some money. Before long, she died. But strangely, she felt that she was still breathing. She struggled to open her eyes, only to see a pink room appearing in front of her eyes…

    Chapter 25 She Grew Angry

Story: The Cinderella with no Crystal Stilettos Author:Da Er Ge words:1625 Update time:2019-11-17 08:00:04

Anna grew angry, which was very rare.

She went back to her room with the broken dress in her hands, expressionless. No matter how many times the maids knocked at the door, she just would not open the door, nor would she make any reply.

    Veronica finally figured it out.

Anna was sick. Very sick. No wonder Anna always dressed her like a princess though she was at her twenties now. A university student was not supposed to always wear those cute dresses. It was not because Anna loved her, but because Anna loved those dresses and the style. If Anna dressed herself like this, she would be laughed at by others should she walk out with such a cute young princess style. So instead, she dressed her daughter to satisfy her own needs.

There was the chaos when this happened upstairs. Jasper, on the first floor, heard the noise. So he hurriedly walked upstairs and asked with a concerned voice, "Veronica, what happened to your mother? What happened just now?"

Expressionless, Veronica turned her back to him and replied, "Mother said she wanted to get some rest. She told me to leave when we are ready."

Jasper did not think too much. He patted her on the head gently and replied, "So, are you ready, my princess?"

Veronica turned around. Her face was now smiling brightly. "Yes, of course," she replied as she blinked her eyes.

Jasper reached out and was about to hold her hand. Veronica noticed his intention. Her eyes rolled and then she ran downstairs.

"And Crystal. I'm going to invite her to join us."

Jasper frowned a bit. But he did not raise any objection.

Ten minutes later, Veronica, Jasper and Crystal got on the car.

Just like the last time, Veronica was considerate enough to have Crystal sit in the passenger seat. She would prefer to sit behind so as to avoid contacting with Jasper.

She was very happy today because she knew Anna's weakness now.

She had decided that she would never wear high heels anymore!

The main purpose of this date today was to go shopping.
