Jane asked for one-day sick leave, but she had not gone to the company for several days because of the order of Jack. Jane begged Jack to let her go to work in the day after William came back to the house. Jack believed in what Jane had said, so he eliminated the doubt on Jane and William, and he agreed it.

Jane had cried for a long time last night, so her eyes were still red in the morning. Jack asked her the reason and she just said that she had a bad sleep. William knew the truth and he was so painful when looking at such poor Jane.

After finishing breakfast in the house of Swift, William drove to the company with Jane. Jane had been so silent on the way to company, but she was not as cold as last night. She would answer William, but she still kept a distance with him, which was the only one thing that she could completely settle the relationship between them.

Arriving at the building of company, Jane went off the car and entered the office when William parked his car. She did it for the reason that she did not want to be seen by others that she came with President Swift, especially Summer. Jane did not want to stimulate her anymore.

William knew the consideration of Jane, so he did not push her so much. William thought it should take time for her to know that she was the only one he loved, and he won’t fall in love with other women. Furthermore, there were so many things to deal with in the Swift family, so William must speed up to ruin Jack; otherwise, Jane would not accept him completely.

Jane could finish a design by herself after learning the game concept design from Summer for a while. William asked Jane to finish several projects with medium size, so that she could have a practice and reduce the amount of paranoia.

William and Jane were the people who could forget everything and focus on the job once they started working. The office was so quiet and there were only a few noise of paper turning occasionally.

“Knock…” Someone knocked at the door. William and Jane raised their head and looked at the door.

“President, there is Miss Davis in the reception and she says she comes for her friend, President Swift.” The secretary of William was on the 20th floor and she came to the 21st floor rarely, so the Babe must be so arbitrary in the reception.

William looked at Jane subconsciously when he heard the name. So did Jane. Jane hurried to look down to escape the eye contact when they looked at each other.

“You go to tell her that I am so busy and she should leave.” William just wanted to stimulate Jane to treat Babe gently and mildly, but now William had no need to do that and he just ignored her. Therefore, he asked her to leave by an excuse.

Jane looking down became released quietly when she heard it. She was so scared and thought that she must be asked by William to the company when hearing the news that Miss Davis came to the reception. However, it was great…Jane thought of what William had said to her which maybe the truth.

Jane had been softened by the sweet attack of William since they came back from the house of Swift for a few days. She begun to waver her mind.

William was a businessman and a hunter, so Jane looked like a harmless rabbit that would be eaten by a patient and smart hunter gradually.

These days, Babe came to the company for William and she even blocked the gate to wait for him. Babe was not a girl from a big family and her dad was just a jewelry businessman making a good fortune suddenly.

Babe living from such newly rich family knew nothing except dressing up. She was also bossy and arbitrary, and she would say whatever she liked. William behaved so obviously to ignore her, but Babe was too arrogant to sense his coldness. She went to the company for him every day. William had no time for Babe since he had been busy in solving Jane’s trouble and some new projects.

The work could come to an end for a while since there was a successful cooperation with other companies. The whole staffs of the company had worked for more than one month for the big project, and it was so hard to get such a great performance. Everybody suggested that they should have a celebration party to relax and William should treat others as the biggest boss.

The mass finished dinner and came to KTV at night. William and Jane also went with them for their happiness. They had drunk a lot of the dinner, but they kept drinking in KTV. Jane thought she was going to be drunk and she had a headache for all kinds of noise, such as singing, drinking, chatting, in the dark room.

William did not sing with others and he stayed with Jane at the corner of the sofa.

Jane drank some beer just now and she became drunk. The expression had been so dim, and her eyes were filled with intoxication.

William had never seen such a Jane and he could not help playing her for the lovely look.

Everybody played happily and no one noticed what was happening between William and Jane.

William pinched the red face and played her little hands as if he was flirting with a woman. He was so enjoyable.

Summer sitting opposite to Jane and William had a drinking quietly and she did not play with others. Summer was a quiet person and she seldom participated in the party. She only came for William this time.

Summer always focused on William, so his flirting was also seen by her.

William looked at Jane sincerely, so it was so obvious that he had deeply fell in love with the girl next to him. Summer knew that William treated Jane specially, but there were two different things to know in the heart and to see by oneself. There was noisy music around her, and she was in an empty mind. Something tried to struggle out of her chest, she was overwhelmed with pressure.

Summer put down the cup and bore the uncomfortable. She wanted to run away from the place before losing control.
