“This is a secret and you could not you tell him; otherwise, he must make fun of me!”

Jane did not realize what she was talking, but William was dazed as if he was frozen. Time seemed to be frozen too.

The surrounding scenery faded out and it became so quiet. There was only a drunk girl in the world of William. William’s surprise for the sudden confession was suspended for catching the unstable and shambling girl.

“Jane, tell me again. Who do you love?” Jane wanted to hear it again and he needed to hear it clearly.

“I love William!”

Jane was in a messy mind, but the truth came after the drunk. She had lied to others for a long time and she kept denying a fact that she fell in love with William. She had so many considerations and she did not face up to him although she did love him.

Today, Summer’s words encouraged Jane to be brave and selfish for love. Summer quitted the love that did not belong to her, and the withdrawal of Summer enabled Jane a reason to cherish William.

There was only love between Jane and William, and what they lacked was a clear and honest confession.

“Say it again!”

“I love you, William!”

“Again!”

“I …Woo…woo…”

William kissed the red lips spitting something sweet and swallowed the confession of Jane. The smell of wine left in the mouths made the kiss more charming.

In the empty road with the sudden confession and the sweet kiss, William hugged the sleeping girl as if he got the whole world.

I loved you and no one in the world would love you more than I did. I did not love the world and you were the only one I loved.

William carried the sleep Jane to go home step by step. William smiled happily and the smile was pure and childish one as if he had found the favorite toy finally.

“I have a headache!” It was the result of a hangover and Jane had a headache and she almost cried for the pain when she woke up.

Jane drank the soup made by William before leaving the bed, and then she laid down to have a rest. Finally, her headache could be released.

Jane started to remember what had happened last night. She still remembered very clearly until she came out of the bathroom with Summer and went back to the room, and then she forgot the rest for being drunk.

She found she was in a nightgown instead of her own dress when she became sober!

William found that Jane was so surprised at the nightgown when he entered the bedroom.

“What’s wrong?”

“Did you change it for me?” Jane asked uncertainly.

William smiled ambiguously, “Yes. I do. I should take good care of you since you had been drunk last night.”

“So? You don’t like the nightgown?”

After that night Jane slept with William, he asked the secretary to prepare so many woman products. There were so many clothes of the size of Jane in wardrobe and all were the latest in the season.

“No. Why I am in your house?” Jane really forgot what had happened last night.

“It is not mine but ours.” William changed the words of Jane.

“So, you want to run away and take no responsibility for me after what you had done to me last night?” It sounded strange when it was said by William.

William pretended to be in a happy face that was so fresh to Jane, so she could not help bursting into laughter.

Looking at the happy Jane without the deliberate alienation as if she had accepted him completely, William was released since he was so afraid that the confession was just a dream and he would still lose Jane when he woke up from the dream.

“Jane, do you still remember what you did last night?” William asked.

“What? What did I do?” Jane asked strangely.

She did forget it. It was the expected result, but William was still disappointed. He wished that Jane could be that sweet in the usual time.

“Do you still remember what you said to me last night?”

William did not wish Jane could remember it and he just played with her.

Jane was shocked at that moment. What did I say? Her mind was hit by several fragments; empty road, dim light, drunk girl, handsome man, and the confession.

“I love you, William. I love you more than anyone in the world.”

William was shocked at this time, “You still remember it?” He was so surprised.

“Yes.” Jane still did not believe that she would make such straight and honest words. It was so shameful. However, the confession was just a beginning since she had decided to cherish the man in front of her.

“I am so happy, I have never been that happy before.” William was so gentle.

“I love you, too. Jane, you are the only one I love in the world.”

Looking at the man with mild eyes and childish smile, she had no idea of her expression, but she could feel the wet face. She was crying.

William kissed her face and then kissed her eyes.

“Stop crying; or you would be a poor kitten.”

“Jane, live with me. Let me take care of you for the rest of your life ?” William said with a charming voice.

Jane was so willing to live with William, but what if it was known by Jack…

“I know what you worry about. But you don’t have to worry about Jack. It is okay to lie to him. Jane, trust me. I must take you back from Jack.”

William promised to Jane.

“Okay.”

Jane did not reject the decision of William since she must face up with someone since she decided to be with William. As Summer said, “You should be tough and brave, so that you could protect who you love.”
