“What do you see in that woman so that you are yelling at me like this?”
Terrel wondered, standing up and putting one arm around Neville’s shoulder.
Neville was his father’s illegitimate son. He was younger than Terrel. When he grew older, his father took him to the Ye family’s house. In the entire family, he was only close to Terrel.
“Please, Terrel, stop her first. Then I’ll tell you everything.”
Neville looked very anxious. Terrel picked up his phone and made a call, telling his men to take Alyssa to his villa.
“Why did you ask them to take her to your place? Do you mean to...? Don’t hurt her! Or I won’t forgive you!” Neville warned.
He knew Terrel so well he was afraid that he was going to do something inappropriate to her.
“She tried to make a profit from me. I need to know whether she is worth it or not.
Let’s go to my place and wait for her,” Terrel said.
The brothers left the office with Terrel’s arm around Neville’s shoulder. Before they left the building, Terrel told his assistant to draft a new contract. Then they got in his black Rolls-Royce, and he started grilling Neville about his love life.
In the living room of Terrel’s house, he sat in a chair, sipping coffee. Alyssa glared at him, her hands cuffed behind her back, her clothes disheveled. Despite her anger, he didn’t seem bothered at all.
“Hey, what is this?
If you don’t want to sign the contract, fine!
Why did you bring me here?” she yelled; so hard she felt there was a ringing sound in her head.
She hadn’t slept, drunk or eaten in two days. She was exhausted and cranky.
“Did you do that?”
Terrel pointed at the two miserable men standing aside.
“Yes.”
“Interesting. Untie her.”
The bodyguard standing next to him followed his orders and uncuffed her.
Neville had been locked up in another room, where he could see everything happening in the living room through a giant screen. Terrel was cruel. Neville knew his brother had locked him there so that he couldn’t stop him when he forced himself on Alyssa.
Alyssa rubbed her wrists while Terrel was cleaning his gun. She looked around and found herself surrounded by bodyguards, who actually looked more like gangsters.
She stood there quietly.
It was like a game. Once she spoke first, she lost. She was waiting for the man to run out of patience.
Half an hour had passed.
Terrel got impatient. He had cleaned his guns over and over again, but the woman still hadn’t said anything.
He raised his head to find that Alyssa was sitting on the floor, dozing off. It looked as if she was going to lie on the floor and fall asleep any minute.
“Hey!” he shouted.
Alyssa lifted her head, her eyes sleepy. She forced them open and mumbled, “Can I sleep for two hours on the floor first?”
Yet Terrel didn’t hear her clearly.
He slowly raised the gun in his hand. Neville’s eyes widened with shock.
He knew Terrel wouldn’t really shoot her, but pointing a gun at her was terrifying enough.
Bam!
The bullet was aimed at the floor beside her. She totally sobered up and got to her feet immediately.
She looked at him in shock. Terrel raised his brows and licked his lips with a sinister grin.
Alyssa clenched her teeth, trying her best not to curse.
“Can you fire a gun?
It’s about ten meters from here to the door. If you can aim at the vase, I’ll sign a new contract with you. If you miss, you’ll have to sleep with me.”
Hearing this, Neville wanted to slap him. Asshole!
Alyssa walked up to the sofa and picked up an exquisite gun. After having a look at its structure, she raised her hand and pointed the gun at Terrel’s head.
The bodyguards all pulled out their guns at the same time. The air became intense. It was a touch-and-go situation.
“Drop your guns!” she demanded.
The bodyguards exchanged a look. Nobody did it.
“Drop your guns!” Terrel roared.
The bodyguards slowly put their guns down.
He looked at the gun and smiled, not scared at all. “Do you know how to unlock the safety?”
As soon as he finished speaking, Alyssa unlocked the safety.
With a smile, she turned, pulled the trigger and shot the vase, which broke to pieces instantly. She withdrew the pistol and blew the muzzle.
Both Terrel and Neville were amazed. That was awesome.
She was so confident. The brothers felt she couldn’t be more beautiful at that moment.
She tossed the gun on the table and said to Terrel, “Give me the contract after you’ve signed it.”
Her voice was thick with arrogance.
Terrel gave a cunning smile. “I changed my mind. Since you can fight, why not fight me? If you win, you get the contract.”
“Huh!”
Alyssa scoffed. “Then you’ll pull other tricks. I’m busy. Don’t waste my time!”
She hated those who went back on their word and toyed with other people as if they were nothing.
“This is my final term.”
Terrel started compromising as he looked at her.
Alyssa took off her jeans jacket and threw it on the floor. “Show me what you got!” she remarked.
Terrel felt she was cool. He took two steps forward and stood opposite her. Alyssa made the first move. Her fist went for his face. Terrel tilted his head and dodged it. Meanwhile, he grabbed her wrist and twisted it. She grimaced in pain.
Neville paced back and forth in another room. It was impossible for her to win his brother. Terrel’s attacks were venomous and merciless. She would get hurt.
Alyssa tried to kick him. However, Terrel was much taller than her. He retreated to dodge her move without letting go of her wrist. Suddenly, she lowered her head and bit his hand. Terrel winced. He did not see that coming.
It hurt like hell, but he couldn’t scream. The bodyguards were all watching. Seeing their boss bitten by a woman, they were laughing contemptuously in their hearts, even though they were showing no sign.
Terrel had never been so embarrassed. He was flustered. He knew Neville was also watching. Much as he was angry, he couldn’t really hurt her. Neville wouldn’t forgive him.
Alyssa bit him as hard as she could. Terrel endured the pain silently. Then Alyssa stole a glance at him and landed a kick in the crotch.
“Ah!”
This time he did scream.
And the bodyguards swore they had never heard their boss scream so miserably, not even when he was shot.
