Only Spoil You in the Show Biz world

Sam Shen had scaled the heights of the business hall of fame. He was the man for almost every daughter of an eminent family. However, Sam paid attention to none of them. Instead, he married Zora Qiao, who rather annoyed the upper class. It was told that he spoiled his wife so much that he would throw away thousands of dollars at simply making her happy. Zora despised this and told others, “He spoiled his wife? Of course not. He is a boring bad guy!” Sam heard this and kissed her saying, "Am I boring? Am I bad? Ok, then, I am only bad to you."

Zora kept asking Erin, “Sam didn’t want me to be with Nathan, so he dragged me away. Can you tell me why he did so? Did he act out of jealousy because he loves me? Sam does love me, doesn’t he?”...

Erin could say nothing but shook her head. She tried to change the topic, “Recently Prince of ballad Francis is coming to make a concert. I tried to get two tickets. Do you like to go with me?” She then went closer to Zora and said smilingly, “I was told he is such a handsome boy.”

Zora shook her head answering, “I have no mood to go. If you like it, you go yourself.” Zora put all her heart into Sam. Erin was worried about her and sighed, “You see you have only Sam in your heart. Why don’t you go to find him?”

“I have a big forest. Of course I ignore him.” Zora glanced at the tickets and took one from her hand saying, “I’ll go with you to the concert.”

Since that day, Zora tried not to contact Sam for quite some days. That day she was holding her cellphone nervously on which a message showed, “Sam, are you free this weekend? Can you come out to listen to my explanation why I did that in our last meeting?”

She hesitated whether to send out the message or not. She was confident in everything except for Sam. Before, in order to get Sam’s love, she tried every means to let him know her existence every day. She used to say hello to him early every morning, bid him good night every day before going to bed and reminding him to wear more whenever it got cold.

Without exception, Sam gave no response then. So at that time, she used to doubt whether he had ever read the messages.

At present, however, Zora could not help asking herself why she had not any news from him, why Kay also disappeared from the circle and whether the god let her give up Sam.

But Zora was not that kind of girl to admit defeat easily. As for her, the more challenging one thing was, the more willingly she would go for it. Otherwise how could she have run after Sam for so many years.

Thinking about this, she cheered up and sent out the message. Anyway, she told herself that she had tried her best by inviting him. She felt better and could not help smiling to the phone.

“What makes you so happy?” Erin asked as she entered and happened to see this. Zora told her apologetically, “Sorry, Erin, I can’t go to that so called prince’ concert with you.” Erin spoke the truth, “Did you make an appointment to Sam?”

“No!” Zora denied it right away, but then she had to admit saying, “It’s because I think we should have a talk about last time.”

Actually she was afraid Sam would forget her completely. In that birthday party he announced she was his fiancée, but he didn’t care what his fiancée was doing. So as revenge, this time she purposely made the appointment in a coffee shop far away from his office.

However, this was only her wishful thinking. In the coffee shop, people were coming and going around her, but the seat beside her was kept empty. Sam didn’t appear at all. She looked out of the glass window and saw a huge poster almost occupied by a handsome face, under which there was a notice read that Gone with the wind concert was on in Hot dragon stadium. She thought of Erin and her appointment.

Outside the biggest stadium of Anna city, many excited fans were looking around for tickets. It was very crowded. Inside the stadium, it was more noisy and crowded. The staff was very worriedly looking for the prince of ballad, Francis. He was very handsome and famous, though young at age. Zora looked at her watch which showed half past ten. According to the schedule, the concert by now should have past one hour.

Even there was traffic jam, Sam should have come too. Besides, Sam’s driver was very skillful. The fact could only be that he didn’t plan to come at all.

In Sam’s office, a group of senior executive members were waiting silently before Sam’s desk with papers in their hands. After quite some while, he at last spoke, “Be prepared. Meeting begins in half an hour.” The staff was relieved and retreated from the office quickly.

As soon as the door closed behind them, a few of them exclaimed that they had never been so nervous in front of their boss. Someone answered, “Since junior Shen in office, we’ve been doing well in our jobs, but today why…”

Sam’s secretary hurried into the office and informed him, “Mr. Shen, you have an appointment at 9:30.”

“Give it up”, Sam replied simply and hurried into the meeting room. The meeting lasted from 10 until work was over.

Zora waited until then too. The coffee on the table was not touched at all. She didn’t like this bitter thing. She ordered it for Sam.

“Waiter, pay the bill.” She said. She left the shop lonely. In the distance, intermittent music came to her ears arousing her gloomy mood. She was attracted to go towards the fountain square.

There, a man wearing a cap was holding a guitar singing. He looked young but experienced. He was sitting casually by the fountain.

She went up to him. The group of pigeons around were disturbed and flew away with food still in their beaks. Zora was surprised and apologized to the singer, “I am sorry, but I didn’t mean to disturb you.

Seeing the man paid no attention to her, she went on saying, “I was attracted by your beautiful song. Ok, I’ll leave.”
