    The Zombie King's Marvelous Life[bxb]

*Update every Friday* After the end of the world, Shawn, who became Zombie King, lived an unrestrained life. He leisurely roamed among the horde while others were chased by zombies. Others fought for a spoonful of food at the risk of their lives, while he owned the food of the whole city. However, he didn’t eat. Others wore shabby clothes, while he lived in a clean villa, neatly dressed. …… He thought it was fair enough to become a zombie. Not only would he be frightened the whole day, but he could also live a life without worry about food or clothing. Um, he made a happy decision. The guy he had met before was rather funny, and he should go and find him.

    Chapter 11 Studying His Abilities

    Story: The Zombie King's Marvelous Life[bxb] Author:Dan Shu Bai Yang words:3200 Update time:2019-12-12 08:00:06

The next day, Shawn didn’t go out because enough crystal cores had been collected the day before. He stayed in the room, studying his abilities or reading books leisurely.

What he was studying was mainly about controlling zombies with his mind. Sometimes he brought a horde of zombies, sometimes he made them leave, while sometimes he made them kill each other. The scene was so creepy that someone would have been scared to death if it was caught sight of.

Fortunately, the room he found was rather secluded, and there was no living people except zombies around. Therefore, nobody would see it as he was taking trials.

Several conclusions were drawn after studies.

First, he could indeed control zombies, however, the number was rather limited. At present, it was only fifty. Second, it was rather hard to make zombies kill each other. Third, the time of control was limited, too. It was twelve hours at most.

Drawing conclusions, he became depressed. It was not the same as descriptions in books. Books said Zombie King could control all of zombies and nobody could stop him. However, he would have been shot to death before he could lift a finger as he was now.

Being depressed for a long while, he comforted himself and thought, anyway he would no longer be chased by zombies, but live in security and clean himself up.

Besides, maybe there was a way to enhance his abilities. He had to find the way first. With the growth of his abilities, he would definitely become stronger. By then, even if he could not be invincible, it was possible to control more zombies.

Being enlightened, Shawn did not care about it any longer. He picked up a book, started reading it, and then thought about finding some clothes to get changed the next day.

On the other hand, Ed had been wondering what Shawn was doing as squatting down by the corpses of zombies.

Exactly, it was Ed who had caught sight of what Shawn was doing. However, he did not see it rather clearly. He only knew Shawn squatted down by the corpses of zombies after killing them, but didn’t knew exactly what he was doing.

After resting for a whole day and night, he had already been on his feet. So he walked carefully around the presidential suite with a stick and wondered how nice it was to move.

He had to restrain from going to the toilet as he could not move. And he could only move slowly toward the toilet if he could not stand, and then moved back slowly. The course was afflicting as well as suffocating.

Walking for a round, he stood in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, and looked at the outside view. Looking at the shabby city, the same idea as Shawn’s came to him.

It was damn easy to damage a city.

Tut, the disaster came out of nowhere, and it was unknown when it would end.

Suddenly, Ed saw Shawn, who was armed to the teeth and covered tightly, show up in front of a relative low building. And then dozens of zombies surrounded him.

At first, Ed was rather concerned, for there was no way out but a dead end while facing dozens of zombies alone. He was wondering whether he should give Shawn a hand. However, it was unexpected that those zombies were killed smoothly. He was startled, and more convinced that Shawn was a professional. In the meanwhile, he raised some doubts.

Today he was planning to observe what exactly Shawn was doing, but didn’t see him. Shrugging his shoulders, Ed thought Shawn must have left.

He drew the curtains, was about to leave, but caught a glimpse of a crowd of people who were chased by zombies and ran into the hotel. He frowned, walked to the entrance, and locked the door. On second thoughts, he opened the door, walked outside, came to the seventeenth floor, and locked the entrance door of this floor.

A series of movements made his wound open. He frowned, covered his wound, and moved back slowly. Then he sat in the couch with his face streaming with sweat, and didn’t move any longer.
