“Are you here to taunt me?” Being silent for quite a while, Ed couldn’t help asking.

“You guess?” Shawn did not answer him, but asked rhetorically.

“Guess whether I would guess or not?” Ed said with a smile.

“...” Shawn felt speechless the same as Ed did before.

Shawn threw his backpack to Ed, and said, “There are some daily supplies inside.”

Raising his eyebrows, Ed unzipped the backpack, checked inside, and found everything he needed, including food, drinks, and clothes. With these, he didn’t need to go out for food, but stayed in the presidential suite for healing in the next three days.

He zipped up the backpack, looked at Shawn, and said, “Tell me. This time, do you have any questions for me? Or what do you want me to do for you?”

“Look at yourself. What can you do for me even if I have a favor to ask you?” Shawn said in contempt.

Ed shrugged and said, “So you do have questions to ask me. Tell me, what are they?”

“...” It was a rather embarrassing question. Among all people Shawn had met, Ed was the only one from whom he could not caught the smell of humans.

However... How to ask about it? Should he just ask, “Why don’t you have the smell of humans? Why don’t you make me hungry?”

If so, Ed would have thought he was out of his mind.

“What’s wrong? Too embarrassed to ask?” Seeing Shawn not asking questions, Ed couldn’t help asking.

“Your isolation super power can hide your smell?” Thinking for a while, Shawn asked another question.

“Yes, I found that zombies had a sharp nose, and they could caught the smell of humans far away. You have to hide your smell if you don’t want to be found.” Ed didn’t expect Shawn would ask such a question. However, it was not a secrete for him. So he briefly explained it.

So that was why he didn’t caught the smell of Ed? Shawn frowned, and he didn’t think so. However, it was Ed’s secrete, and it was inconvenient for him to ask Ed for more details.

“You have been using your super power all the time?” On second thoughts, Shawn decided to beat around the bush.

“Not exactly.” Ed moved his body, trying to cross his legs out of habit. However, his legs were injured so badly that they hurt even with a slight movement. Therefore, acting as if nothing had happened, he put his legs down, and said, “It needs energy to use super power, and it is very exhausting. Since it is very safe in the hotel, there is no need to use it.”

Shawn got lost in thought. Ed didn’t use his super power, however, he still couldn’t catch any smell. Apparently, Ed had other secrets, which even Ed himself didn’t find out.

“Why do you ask about it?” Ed asked doubtfully, “You really have a favor to ask me?”

“No, I just want to know more about your super power.” Shawn collected himself, looked at Ed, and said, “Look at yourself. What can you do for me? You are just a liability. I don’t want to get myself into trouble.”

“…” Again, Ed took a deep breath.

He had to restrain himself!

“What about other kinds of super power?” Since super power had been mentioned, Shawn asked about other kinds.

“I’ve no idea. I didn’t even figure out my own super power. Not to mention other kinds.” Restraining himself, Ed tried hard to make his voice calm, “I only know that fire-element super power could produce little flames, and water-element could produce several drips of water. I didn’t see other kinds of super power. Neither did I know about them.”

“It seems that you are worthless.”

Endurance! He had to endure it! Since he couldn’t beat Shawn, he had to endure it!

Suddenly, Ed felt that his endurance had been improved. If he met such a guy as Shawn before, he would definitely have given him a lesson!

“I’m leaving. Take care of yourself.” Said Shawn.

“What? You are leaving now? You can sit here to relax a little longer.” Hearing that Shawn was leaving, Ed instantly forgot all poisonous words he had suffered, but only tried to make Shawn stay.
