Only Spoil You in the Show Biz world

Sam Shen had scaled the heights of the business hall of fame. He was the man for almost every daughter of an eminent family. However, Sam paid attention to none of them. Instead, he married Zora Qiao, who rather annoyed the upper class. It was told that he spoiled his wife so much that he would throw away thousands of dollars at simply making her happy. Zora despised this and told others, “He spoiled his wife? Of course not. He is a boring bad guy!” Sam heard this and kissed her saying, "Am I boring? Am I bad? Ok, then, I am only bad to you."

Fuck off, Sam, such a domineering freak!

Nevertheless, why couldn’t she stay in her own country? Zora was wondering when York appeared giving her the answer.

There were rumors online about the affair that she became the heroine in Francis’ new MV. Most of the comments were that she didn’t match Francis and that she should leave the showbiz.

It was a hot topic too about the story she went to the club last night with an ambiguous picture where she was hugged by a man in front of that Maserati.

Wasn’t it Sam, the protagonist in the photo?

Under this picture, the remarks were harsher and more unpleasant. Some said she had affairs with a few men at the same time, some commented that she worshipped money with vanity, while others even pretended to be her colleagues remarking that she worked very badly.

Zora laughed with anger. She put the iPad aside saying, “They could only give these remarks. Should I be afraid of these keyboard men?”

York told her, “Mr. Shen was afraid that you might be unhappy reading these. He worried about your safety too, so he took you abroad.” He went on, “You don’t know about the girl fans of Francis. They were very crazy. Last time, his gossip girl got a package of a blade and a bloody doll.

    “… …”

For the sake of his boss’ happiness, York tried hard to blacken Francis’ reputation. It was quite moving.

The plane arrived in Japan. Far away there at the airport were people waiting for them. As soon as they saw Sam and his team, they came forward warmheartedly. They showed Sam and his team out of the airport.

A Bentley car stopped at the gate of a hotel. Through the glass, we could see a traditional Japanese building. Though it looked old from the outside wall, it turned out more like a historic spot being cared so much by its owner.

Two lanterns hanging on the door waved gently with the breeze.

The car door opened. A big hand was reached to Zora. Zora took it and got off the car. They walked together to the hotel.

At the gate, the manager and his staff were waiting obediently. On seeing Sam, they came forward and said something warmheartedly. Zora was confused, because she didn’t know any Japanese.

Sam smiled and responded in very fluent Japanese.

Zora had almost forgotten that Sam graduated from the most outstanding university. He was an excellent student and graduated from the school earlier than he should. York stood beside her. He noticed that Zora could not understand what they were talking and interpreted for her.

    “… …”

Even Sam’s assistant was so outstanding. Zora was quite embarrassed. She kept on smiling to hide the truth that she could not speak the language.

Sam noticed this. He took Zora by the hand and walked inside the hotel.

It was really the rare chance that Sam became so mild to explain to her, “This hotel enjoys a long history in Japan. It is famous for its hot spring and cuisine. You can try them in a minute.”

Zora nodded. She knew they must be very good if Sam favored.

Afterwards, Sam and York went away for their business.

Zora changed her clothes and was taken to a bedroom. On the door of the bedroom, there was a board, on which Zora found three Chinses words “Sky Water Pavilion”. She thought Japanese had Chinese characters, which showed they were deeply influenced by Chinese culture.

The door opened. There was a small table in it. Before the table, there was a screen. A man’s shadow could be seen behind the screen.

A waiter was specially arranged for her who could speak Chinese. He said to Zora, “Miss Qiao, be seated please. This is the chef of the hotel. He will serve you for dinner.”

Zora was pleased and sat down. On the table, variety of spice pastes were first arranged. Later, after a bell, a navy-blue carved dish with a piece of sashimi on it was served. It looked so perfectly-matched with the food and the plate.

Zora picked up chopsticks. The food tasted so marvelous. Later, more dishes came matched with different styles of plates and different tastes.

Zora was attracted by the shadow behind the screen. He was busy and made the food so elegant and pleasing.

The waiter came forward and told her, “Miss Qiao, the next will be the last dish, but this does not belong to our hotel. The chef specially makes it for you.”

“Oh?” Zora was surprised and stared at the screen. She had never been so eager for such a dish. This chef knew her appetite so well.

Soon, a coconut was taken out. It was an ordinary nut. Zora opened it and out came some white smoke, in whose midst, stood a small carved figure together with another one who was holding a guitar. Zora was familiar with this scene. The waiter gave her a spoon. She tasted the juice. It was coconut mixed with mango, sweet and flavored. It was her favorite mango!

Such coincidence made her more curious about the chef behind the screen. She asked, “Who are you?”

Laughter came up and with it, a handsome boy appeared from behind the screen.

Zora could not help crying out, “It’s you! Aren’t you home in the country?”

Francis blinked and smiled, “It is predestined.” He sat down and asked, “Do you like the dessert?”

Zora came back to herself from surprise. She looked at the carved picture and smiled, “It is very nice. But the idea of the picture is more moving.”

Francis apologized, “Forgive me for bringing you trouble during these two days. I was not considerate enough.” Zora shook her head, “I am very happy about this meal. I didn’t expect you are such a good chef.”

Francis smiled, “I am good at more things besides cooking.” He suddenly raised his hand and snapped his fingers beside Zora’s ear. A rose appeared in his fingers. He gave it to her, “Send to you. A flower to a beauty.”

Zora was amused. Her disappointment about that man was washed away mostly.
