"What's going on Liam", said Mike as he made his way to us on the couch, "we have a question to ask you, right Liam?" said Mr. Wayne as he spoke for me. I didn't want to be in the conversation so I walked out and started cleaning up the house from red plastic cups everywhere Mr. Wayne didn't mind me doing so after I told him in private that I did not want to be apart of the conversation with them. How can a house full of drunk people be able to make such a big mess, I mean I don't know how long they were partying so I couldn't say much, I started from the top floor and worked my way down, I didn't feel like carrying trash bags down the steps so I just threw them out the window. Making my way down I see my parents door cracked open just a little and a slight noise of growling, as I take a peek in side I see another monster sniffing around my parents room, I stumbled back tripping over the trash bag behind me causing the lamp on the side table to fall and break. The monster heard me and broke through the window leaving without a sound, my brothers ran up stairs with Me. Wayne trailing behind them, "hey, Liam are you alright...", as Mikey began to shake me as I was still staring at our parents door, he saw what I was looking at and stopped, John picked me up noticing that I cut my hand on the lamp shards on the floor, when I looked down finally noticing I cut myself as blood spilled out my hand, I freaked out running to the nearest bathroom cleaning it without looking and wrapping it up in a bandage. As I walked out Mr. Wayne was standing there waiting for me to say something to him, "I'm sorry, I said I'll be careful, yet I'm still getting hurt" I said running into his arms taking in the great smell that leaks from him. "You know, you should be punished for making me worry like that" he said putting a smile on his face, "wait..., what?", I said embarrassed to even look at him, "I'm just kidding, but it did make my day that you now have a smile on your face", he says as we walk down stairs to the living room where my brothers are waiting. They all notice at the same time that Mr. Wayne has his arm wrapped around my waist and yell "what the hell is going on" they said pointing at Mr. Wayne, I moved a little away from him but it seemed like he caught on to what I was trying to do an let it go, as he lifted his hands up in surrender I made my way over to the couch on the opposite side of them and we got straight down to business, "may I ask a question first before we start?" I said as everyone looked at me, "sure", Joey said responding for everyone, "um why did you guys have a party even though this town has been attacked", I said quietly, "well you see, Joey had employees over and I had some of my friends from college over, we had a little get to gather or party to make up for lost time, and you saw Mike did not get along with any of them and started a fight," said John, "okay..." I said looking at my phone with incoming text from Tim, he wanted to know where we headed without telling him. I said to him that we were at my town because Mr. Wayne wanted to prove something to me, "have fun," he said, it sounded like if something bad were to happen I'll be alright. Like anything in my life has gone right..., "alright finally getting down to business", Mike said, "slamming his hands down on the table, "right, gentlemen we are here to tell you that you need to let him know what he is, because he does not seem to believe me" as Mr. Wayne says pointing to me. "His heat came and was not prepared with the solution to help him" as he said adding on, they all look at me and I still was confused and my face gave it away, "alrighty, Liam come here" as John said walking towards our Mom and Dad room, "wait", I said grabbing his shirt. "There was a monster in there earlier, not during your party, but when I was cleaning" I said not looking in his eyes, "you know you really are troublesome, this is why I need to show you what Mom and Dad hid from you for years on end , they said it would never come in handy unless you had your heat and couldn't control it", he said while walking in to their room. It wreaks of blood, and I stood looking at how messed up and trash the place is, "we locked it when you left , in case you're wondering" he said looking through their closet pulling out a small chest with a lock on it, "okay since we got what we came for let's go", I said with my eyes closed reaching for him, I'm already out the door, let's go" he said as I was about to run out a giant furry paw came around my mouth and silenced me, John leaving without hearing anything. "Okay don't scream, Mizuky, I won't hurt you" the beast said as he let go of my mouth letting me breathe, "you can talk" I say back up closing the door by accident keeping my only escape root open, well that plan failed, "yes I can talk, and me talking to you is important" he says transforming into a human wearing a Nobel rich outfit under a large coat, "you aren't safe if my brothers find you they'll kill you for being one of those monsters" I say getting up to push him towards the window, "aw that's not a nice thing to say, and here I thought we could be friends" he says pouting, but I knew he was smirking under that sad face. "Alright fine... but promise you won't do anything", I said pointing at him, "really, I give you my word sir, no harm will come to you, I will be your body guard until further notice" he says bowing down to me, "hey Liam, what's going on in there I hear voices" as Mike comes banging on the door, "what am I supposed to do..." I say wispering not even knowing his name, "it's Karma..." he says like he read my mind, this is going way to fast for me.
