Throughout the day, everything was peaceful and quiet. The two alphas were teasing and entertaining the innocent-minded Anka, causing her face to flush with embarrassment from time to time.
However, although Lot and Sain appeared calm on the surface, they were constantly mindful of the changes around them. The planet Kela, with few inhabitants, was even rarer in terms of the place where Anka lived. There wasn't even a single person passing by, not to mention that they had been staying here for several days, excluding Anka. In such a vast planet, they only encountered Uncle Monk, clearly demonstrating the sparsity of the population on Kela Star.
Lotte and Sain did not understand how Anka's older brother could feel at ease leaving him alone here.
Later, I asked Anka and only then did I find out that on the Kela Star, many people live alone. Some betas even younger than him live by themselves, with their parents following merchant caravans to work outside. The young or older individuals are left home alone, which has already formed a peaceful atmosphere. Though poverty exists, it is unexpectedly peaceful. Apart from outsiders, no one would stir up conflicts out of boredom.
In the evening, after finishing their dinner, the three of them were chatting in the small courtyard when suddenly they heard the sound of Uncle Monk's dilapidated robot truck approaching from a distance. Anka, filled with excitement, jumped up and ran towards the outside of the courtyard. Lotte and Sian exchanged a glance, both seeing the perplexity and caution in each other's eyes. They stood up and followed Anka outside.
As the car approached, Lotte and Sien noticed that there was no one else on the small truck except Uncle Monk. They breathed a sigh of relief, as for a moment they thought Uncle Monk had been taken hostage. After all, he was the most easily recognized person working at this space station.
As soon as the car came to a stop, Uncle Monk got out of the car and Anka pounced on him like a little white rabbit. Seeing this, Loth and Sain furrowed their brows. If they could turn the kid around, the first thing they would do is to make him stop randomly pouncing on men.
"Oh, Anka... it's been a long time since we last met..."
Uncle Monk chuckled as he gently patted Anka's back, kneading the soft texture of Anka's hair with his big hand.
"Uncle Monk, long time no see. I miss you so much. You never come to visit me, and my brother doesn't even send me any messages..."
Anka, acting coy, rubbed against Uncle Monk's chest playfully. Instantly, Lot and Sain's faces darkened.
"Why don't you act spoiled in front of them?"
"Didn't they say they were handsome?"
"Didn't I say that I really like them?"
"Are they really no match for an uncle?"
"Shouldn't they speed up the progress or something?"
"Alright, alright, I am just here to deliver a message from your brother. I reckon the communication in the Kela Star must have gone bad... Your brother couldn't reach you recently, so he came to find me. He asked me to tell you to behave and that he will be back soon."
Uncle Monk chuckled and said with a laugh, suddenly catching sight of two alphas still smiling nearby. However, there seemed to be something off in the atmosphere around them. Did they know something about Brother Anke?
"Wow, is that true? That's really great... I was so worried about my older brother."
Anka finally separated from Uncle Monk, her little face beaming with a dazzling smile.
"Of course, so you must be obedient these few days, as the weather is too hot. Don't go to the supply station, stay with these two... stay with these two you picked up. Once your brother comes back, he will find a way to send them home."
When Monk spoke, he carefully observed the reactions of the two alphas. Unfortunately, their expressions didn't change at all; they merely politely smiled. However, the atmosphere seemed to have improved.
"Oh... I see, I can't keep taking care of them all the time..."
Anka nodded with a sudden realization, looking at Lot and Sean, muttering softly, "What a pity..."
Uncle Monk's beard twitched as he muttered, "This kid really has no idea about the magnitude of the world. Can you just casually raise these two alphas?"
Lotte and Sain's smiles deepened, and they thought to themselves at the same time, "Since they can't bear to see us like this, it's all the better..."
Uncle Monk said that Anka will only be back in a few days. He must have learned about the situation on Kula Star and needs time to make arrangements before he returns. So, in order to avoid any clashes with my future brother-in-law, I can only speed up my progress with Anka...
"Anka, can you make me a cup of peppermint tea?" Uncle Monk suddenly asked, with a warm smile on his face.
Anka was momentarily stunned, then quickly nodded and said, "Sure, please wait a moment." After speaking, she hurried back into the room.
Uncle Monk pushed Anka aside and walked towards Lotte and Sain with a serious expression.
