"Chenxi! You must work hard! It's alright if our entrance exam scores were a little low, we can definitely catch up afterwards! The teacher has always praised your talent, so you must not let them down! ...Oh, by the way, remember to go say hello to Teacher Liu and thank them! ...Chenxi? Are you listening? Chenxi?!"
The voice on the phone grew louder and louder, and Zhang Chenxi finally opened his exhausted eyes. "I got it, Mom. I'm going to find my dormitory now."
Without waiting for her to continue speaking, he hung up the phone.
Yawning loudly, Zhang Chenxi sat on the long chair in front of the dormitory door, feeling dazed.
Sofia Art Academy, the most renowned music academy in the country, is rated at a mind-boggling difficulty level if we were to use star ratings. It would easily get a nine and a half out of ten. Within the academy, there are three major colleges: music, dance, and fine arts, each further divided into numerous specialized fields.
Zhang Chenxi looked around and couldn't help but sigh. The art academy really is wealthy...
Compared to the typical red brick dormitories of regular universities, this apartment-style building appears particularly luxurious. Because the entrance exams are extremely difficult and the tuition fees are outrageously expensive, there are very few students enrolled, and the dorms are assigned randomly. Perhaps when you step into the room, you'll find art supplies scattered all over the floor, or exquisite dance costumes, or like yourself, carrying a box full of sheet music and an electronic piano.
The dormitory area is a bit far from the classrooms, estimated to take about half an hour to walk. Along with the disadvantages, there are naturally some advantages that come with it. The dormitory area has an environment that is almost perfect, resembling a park. There are flowing rivers and the buildings are all three or four stories high. They surround a circular brick plaza that somewhat resembles European style. In the middle of the plaza, there is even a fountain. Convenience stores and supply shops have everything you need, giving it a complete feeling of living in a high-end residential area.
When I remembered paying tuition fees, I helplessly watched as a digit was deducted from my bank card. In an instant, I was no longer able to appreciate the beautiful scenery before me. Zhang Chenxi let out a long sigh, using all his strength to lift two large suitcases, while carrying an electronic keyboard with his other hand as he slowly made his way towards the dormitory entrance.
"Excuse me, could you please not block the way?"
Suddenly, a gentle male voice came from behind. Zhang Chenxi turned around and quickly moved aside with her luggage to clear the way.
"Carrying a coffin board in broad daylight... what bad luck..."
"Hahahaha..."
The several people behind the boy couldn't hide their laughter, bursting into fits of laughter.
Zhang Chenxi also followed along with a laugh, then he turned his head and rolled his eyes while they weren't paying attention. He muttered to himself: "How did I end up encountering such people right from the start... I just felt so unlucky!"
"Kai Ge, don't talk nonsense..." The boy also felt a bit embarrassed and turned around to quietly say a few words to the people who were laughing so hard they were almost kneeling on the ground.
"Hey, just kidding! Don't take it to heart, little brother!" Li Kai walked up, patting Zhang Chenxi's shoulder with a wide grin.
"Oh..." He gave a light response, and just as he lifted his head, he saw several people had already walked ahead of him and entered the dormitory gate. Only the guy who had just spoken for him was still standing in place, staring straight at him.
Zhang Chenxi didn't really mind and raised her eyes to respond to his gaze.
Their gazes met and she suddenly realized that this boy was really good-looking, worthy of a perfect 10, maybe even more. Despite wearing flamboyant clothes that resembled a dance costume, it couldn't hide the handsome aura exuding from his face. His features were delicate with a pair of bright and smiling deer-like eyes. His nose was high, as if he had some foreign heritage, and his lips were a vibrant shade of red, perfectly curved. Somehow, he seemed to possess a gentle femininity while also exuding a masculine determination. Perhaps he was a dancer? Did he naturally emit this strange yet harmonious aura?
Wait a minute, why am I staring at a boy?!
Zhang Chenxi vigorously shook her head, lifting up the electronic keyboard with one hand and grabbing the suitcase with the other, she gritted her teeth and directly walked through the dormitory's entrance, ignoring the male students.
Watching Zhang Chenxi's figure receding, the boy stood still for a while.
"Hey! Gu Lun! What are you doing?!"
"Oh, sorry! Coming!" His thoughts were suddenly pulled back to reality, and the boy turned his head towards several people who were waiting for him by the door, grinned, and hurriedly ran over.
