The bald guy was hit on the head, and blood streamed down, blinding his eyes.
"F**k..." He stumbled and managed to stand up.
Seeing this, the two people he brought quickly rushed up to help the boss seek revenge. However, the door was narrow and the two thugs, who relied on brute force, couldn't attack together. As they reached the doorway, one person silently retreated to the back in unspoken agreement.
Maybe he had sharp eyes and saw the silent man at the door making a move. He reasoned and made a concession – the man swiftly kicked the person who was mindlessly charging forward with a foot, without even moving his upper body. He went straight through the person's hand blocking his groin and kicked him over, causing him to roll on the ground screaming in anguish.
Nan Kun felt a pang as he looked over there, still holding a cup in his hand. His brow furrowed and he didn't relax.
Another man who hadn't yet figured out whether to fight or flee saw the other man extend his long leg, taking one step to stand in front of him. As if they were brothers, the man grabbed him by the neck and, in a split second, the two hands resting on his shoulders forcefully twisted. With a snap, the man only had time to hear the sound before feeling as if his collarbone had snapped. He screamed in agony, falling to the ground and immediately starting to convulse.
At this moment, the man's face slowly emerged from the shadows. Just like walking slowly into the spotlight, there was a kind of elegant desolation.
Gu Chenchai felt the atmospheric pressure in the entire private room had dropped.
With distinct facial features and a powerful aura, the prominent nose sits beneath the well-defined brow, while the arched eyebrows are partially hidden behind the bangs. The thin, deep-purple lips, slightly pouting, complete the overall appeal with a hint of sensuality, enhanced by the glistening residue of a drink at the corner of the lips. Standing at the doorway, the naturally graceful figure of a fashion model is revealed, as the slender eyes follow the gleaming bald head with interest.
Nan Kun immediately recognized the approaching person and cursed inwardly. In order to salvage the situation, he quickly scolded the bald man kneeling on the ground, "Cheng Tao, are you blind? How dare you bring the brothers from the Lu Family to cause trouble in Ya Ye's territory?"
The bald man, who was originally cursing and intending to step forward, instantly felt his legs go weak upon hearing these words. He turned around and knelt down in the general direction of the mute old man!
"Grandfather... Grandfather, are you okay?" Cheng Tao kowtowed to the ground.
The man ignored him, waving his hand in a daze, solemnly correcting Nankun, "I'm not hitting, I'm a member of my gang."
"Sorry, sorry. I was ignorant and didn't realize this plate belongs to you..." Just thinking about how the Jiang faction has always dealt with the Xiaolu Family, Cheng Tao couldn't help but feel a chill run down his spine.
His head was still resting on his hands on the ground, trembling as he anxiously added, "Uncle Ya, for the sake of Mr. Lu's reputation, please spare a way out for us brothers." His words were unexpectedly quivering.
Gu Chenchaw sat in the corner, rubbing his sore knee. His eyes were fixed on the man's face, showing more curiosity than the initial instinctive gratitude. In this club, where people were ruthless, this person surprisingly wore a suit. After a momentary altercation, he straightened his clothing with a slight tug and restored his impeccable appearance.
He tilted his head and looked at the bald man who dared not raise his head, as if an eagle was contemplating whether or not to swoop down and hunt this prey in its grasp. The entire private room was suddenly filled with an inexplicable silence, as only the sound system playing KTV music remained. After the song ended, a club advertisement started playing, making it feel like an entire century had passed.
Then, that man murmured a word towards the bald man, his voice resembling the rumbling of a low-frequency artillery car passing through this narrow world--
"Get lost."
Hearing this word, the bald man nodded repeatedly in gratitude, even crawled and carried a brother from the ground, and ran out with several other bald men in the room.
The person who invited him ran away, and Nan Kun could only grit his teeth and admit his bad luck. There was a dark and oppressive look between his eyebrows. He suppressed his anger and greeted Ya Ye, "Ya Ye, don't argue with these small leaders. Please have a seat, and let us play a round by ourselves?"
Uncle Ya snorted coldly, glanced at the row of boys standing in the private room, then turned his head to look at Nankun. "I thought you didn't like hanging out with guys, but how come you're also joining in on this fun?"
"Declining such a kind gesture would be difficult." Nankun's voice sounded ominous, yet maintained its politeness.
Old Yaya didn't give him face anymore, without exchanging any greetings, he swayed and left the door.
Even though Nan Kun knows that Ah Ye is always like this, he still can't bear it. After enduring for a long time, he let his master, Young Master Nan, put his hot face against this mute guy's cold butt!
A wine bottle in his hand was thrown, and it hit a man squatting in the front row. The bottle smashed the person to the ground, shattering into pieces. Still, the person remained unaffected, and he looked at Gu Chencha, who was still huddled in the corner, and angrily pointed at him, saying, "Drag that kid out! Beat him to death!"
It is not permissible to kill, but the people in the private room were so resentful after being scolded that beating them halfway to death could still be achieved.
However, this time Gu Chencha became smart. He desperately rushed towards the door, and the people inside didn't stop him, so they could only rush to the door and pull him to a stop. Just as it seemed like he would be pulled back inside and punched, Gu Chencha quickly had an idea and loudly shouted for help towards the figure of the man he caught sight of: "Mute Master!"
The man suddenly paused in his tracks, as if possessed by an unknown force, then he turned his head back. Worried that he might not notice her, Gu Chencha clenched her teeth and broke free from his right hand, clasping her hands together and desperately shouting, "Ya Ye, save me!"
Nan Kun thought that Jiang Nu had only come to cause trouble for the Lu Family, and wouldn't pay attention to this bystander. At this moment, no one knew where this person had gone. So, the few people who had been asking for his opinion shook their heads and gestured for him to not bother, but to just drag the person back. However, just as the door was about to close, a hand suddenly reached in.
Gu Chencha watched as his hand was pinched, but he didn't seem to feel any pain. He forcefully pushed the door open.
Then, the person in the private room looked on as the man who had never smiled or spoken lightly actually softened!
He grabbed Gu Chencha's hands, which were still clasped together like a drowning person grabbing at straw, and firmly held them together once again.
He rushed to Gu Chen's side abruptly, clasping his hand in his own palm. He looked at him back and forth with a joy and excitement that seemed to have been lost and regained. A smile even appeared at the corner of his mouth. If it weren't for the strange shifting of the lights, Gu Chen would have almost thought that this man was crying.
After a short while, the man murmured towards the hands he held tightly. His voice was hoarse, as if it had been scorched by something. He said - Gu Chencha would always remember that scene later on - he said, "Okay, I'll take you back..."
