Su Shijiu wasn't able to see Jiang Qihao when he was discharged from the hospital. In order to see his alpha, Su Shijiu even told a lie. He made an excuse of needing to go to the bathroom and then sneaked into the duty room, but he didn't see the person who felt like an exiled immortal in his heart.
Sighing, he walked back dejectedly, his mind still pondering over his own affairs with Jiang Qihao.
Could it be that I've encountered those scumbags? Dr. Jiang seems like such a good person, could he actually be a player? But no matter how I look at it, it doesn't seem like it. Dr. Jiang has been so kind to me, and so gentle.
Walking up to Su's mother, Su Shi still had the appearance of someone heartbroken. He saw his mother force a smile, indicating that she was fine.
Su's mother didn't expose him when she saw him. As long as the child can solve the matter on his own, she would never interfere.
"Let's go, your grandmother is still waiting for us at home."
Su Shi's little emotions came and went quickly. After hearing Su's mother's words, he obediently sat in the car, waiting for the driver to take the mother and son home.
"Has grandma been eating well these past few days? Have you been sleeping well?"
When Su Shi drank, his thoughts would quickly come to a halt, and he would immediately bombard his mother with all sorts of questions. He would question every member of his family until he heard a satisfactory answer, only then would he be able to put his mind at ease.
"Everyone is doing fine, it's just that everyone is worried about you. Your grandma doesn't have any health issues, but she's concerned about you, and can't sleep well at night."
Su Shijiu knew that it was his fault for causing his family to worry. He felt a pang of guilt and lowered his head, saying, "It's my fault. I always make you all worried because of me."
If we talk about what's not good about Su Shi Jiu, overall, it's only his physical condition that most people are dissatisfied with. When he was young, he had poor health and would fall ill every few days. His parents would carry him to the hospital. As he grew up, he didn't get sick often, but he would constantly refuse to eat, which made his family members extremely anxious.
Apart from this point, everything about Su Shijiu can be described as someone else's child. He is obedient, clever, and has excellent academic performance. Moreover, he was admitted to the music academy through a recommendation.
Every time relatives at home scolded their own children, they would bring up Su Shi Jiu and mention him again.
"You see, Jiujiu never lets his family worry about him. As an alpha, why do you always make us take care of everything and feel embarrassed?"
All such words were heard by the children in the family until their ears were calloused. When they saw Su Shi, it was as if they were seeing a god, with admiration in their eyes.
Su Shi couldn't do anything about it. It was only when he returned home that he tugged on his mother's sleeve, asking her to talk to those aunties and uncles, urging them not to always compare him to others, which made him feel embarrassed.
He has a thin face and is easily teased. Whenever there's a holiday or festival at home, the family always likes to make fun of him with Su-style liquor. They would see him blushing in embarrassment and running back to his room, and then they would create a ruckus.
This is such a good child, but unfortunately, they can't be clever in matters of emotions.
Su's mother rubbed her temples with a worried sigh as she looked at Su Shi's wine-induced red face.
As soon as the car came to a stop, Su ShiJiu opened the car door and quickly ran out.
It was useless for Su's mother to shout from behind for him to run slowly; he rushed into the house like a gust of smoke.
"This child." Su's mother shook her head, calmly closed the car door, and followed behind Su Shijiu into the house.
Before even stepping inside the door, I heard the sound of the youngest son inside calling out 'Brother' in a sweet and tender voice, followed by a burst of sobbing.
