He poured some red flower oil into his palm and pressed it against the bruise on his back with force. Zhong Yi let out a painful scream, "Ah! Zhao Yu Yang, you damn son of a bitch, be more gentle!"

Zhao Yuyang did not show any mercy, skillfully continuing to rub: "No, this is the way to make it work. Shao Ze used to get into fights and had all sorts of injuries, and I applied medicine for him. Your injury is somewhat severe, it will probably take three to four days before it stops hurting. If you don't apply this, it's estimated that it will hurt for a whole week."

Zhong Yi let out a miserable scream as he was covered in red flower oil by Zhao Yu Yang. Then, he was dragged by Zhao Yu Yang to attend the early morning self-study session.

Zhao Yuyang sat in the front, while Zhong Yi sat in the back. As they walked past from the aisle, everyone behind covered their noses and frowned at Zhong Yi's figure, thinking, "What the hell is that foul smell? It's so pungent!"

Zhong Yi couldn't see what was going on behind him. By the time he leisurely walked to his own position, Jin Shaoze had already begun silently reading his Chinese textbook, completely disregarding Zhong Yi's presence.

Zhong Yi didn't know what he was thinking, and he sat in his seat with a troubled expression. He took out his Chinese textbook and would occasionally glance at Jin Shaoze, while pretending to casually read as if nothing was on his mind.

After a while, Jin Shaoze suddenly put the book down and leaned closer to Zhong Yi. He furrowed his brow and sniffed, only to catch a familiar scent emanating from Zhong Yi's body.

The scent of the red flower oil filled the entire classroom.

Zhong Yi quickly moved back, hesitated for a moment, and suddenly asked Jin Shaoze, "What did you mean last night?"

What did that statement mean last night? Was it a joke or sarcasm?

Jin Shaoze simply paused for a second beside Zhong Yi before turning around. He listened to Zhong Yi's question without any change in expression, as calm as ever. "Just giving a normal explanation for being falsely accused," he said.

Zhong Yi's face turned pale and then green. He didn't deliberately frame Jin Shaoze; he was only guessing and happened to speak out his speculations.

"Jin Shaoze, are you sure you won't cause trouble for me?"

He still couldn't believe that Jin Shaoze would truly help him out of goodwill; he was afraid there might be a conspiracy.

Jin Shaoze casually averted his gaze, and Zhong Yi couldn't understand the meaning hidden in his eyes. He said, "Did I really cause trouble for you? Just don't provoke me obediently, listen to me, and no one will come looking for you."

Zhong Yi gave a contemptuous snort and wondered why he hadn't caused trouble for him yet. Even if it was just a few minor matters, it would still be considered troublesome for him!

As for provoking him? That was all unintentional!

"Listen obediently? What should I listen to? Help him make instant noodles? Attend class without sleeping or playing with a phone? Or fear that he might spill the beans about the incident with the green hat..."

Zhong Yi furrowed his brow and fell silent.

After Jin Shaoze finished speaking, he didn't pay any more attention to Zhong Yi. No matter how confused or conflicted Zhong Yi was, Jin Shaoze didn't even glance at him.

After a while, the class ended and Zhong Yi prepared to have breakfast, intending to escape from this stifling place.

As soon as he stood up, Jing Shaoze grabbed Zhong Yi's wrist, startling him and causing his whole body to tremble. He struggled to break free.

"Why?" Zhong Yi took a few steps back, warily watching Jin Shaoze. Several of Jin Shaoze's brothers in the class approached Zhong Yi, making his heart race with anxiety.

Jin Shaoze took a blue and white card out of the drawer, then stood up and placed it in Zhong Yi's palm.

Zhong Yi raised his head, looking at him in confusion. "?"

"Bring me breakfast," Jin Shaoze paused before adding, "Buy the same thing for me that you're having."

Shortly after, Jin Shaoze and a group of people walked out from behind in a scattered and dazed manner, each looking as if they hadn't fully awakened.

On his way to the dining hall, Zhong Yi recalled his conversation with Jin Shaoze just now. There was a dark circle under Jin Shaoze's eyes, and Zhong Yi thought that he hadn't slept well.
