Cen Xiuzhi was not that unrestrained, so he chose to sleep in a different room when going to someone else's house instead of insisting on sharing a bed with others.
In order to quickly gain Gu Jin's trust in Cen Xiu Zhi's sincerity, the best method is to shift the focus of everything onto emotions. For a youth as mature as Gu Jin, emotions are undoubtedly mysterious and tempting. Cen Xiu Zhi took the lead in arousing Gu Jin's desires before Su Che, establishing himself as Gu Jin's preconceived notion from then on.
Breakfast was already prepared. Cen Xiu Zhi went downstairs from the second floor and saw Gu Jin walking in from the outside of the garden. His face was sweaty and he was wearing sportswear. It was estimated that he went for a morning run outside. Cen Xiu Zhi had mentioned the importance of physical exercise to him, but he didn't expect Gu Jin to have such strong execution ability, starting the next day.
Gu Jin entered the door, and his gaze reflexively followed the figure standing on the second floor, leaning against the railing. His eyes were somewhat dazed, but after a few seconds, he looked away.
"Good morning, madam," Cen Xiuzhi said with a charming smile as he spotted her figure around the corner, politely greeting her.
Madam Gu, the wife of the Gu family, nodded at Chen Xiuzhi, revealing a smile as a sign of greeting. She then turned her head towards the two people in the hall and said, "Gu Jin, Yi Han, come over and have breakfast."
When Cen Xiuzhi saw Gu Jin, he also noticed the young man in a black coat following behind him. This young man, who was a year older than Gu Jin, had a more introverted and calm temperament. His facial features were also quite handsome. Upon hearing Cen Xiuzhi's voice, he raised his head and glanced at him, seeming to be momentarily stunned before turning his gaze towards Gu Jin.
His gaze lingered longer than before, and Gu Jin keenly sensed a subtle and unusual aura. Slowly, he shifted his focus onto his face.
"Forgetting to introduce you," Gu Jin said, "that person is my... fiance, Chu Jia's young master, Chu Fanyi."
He emphasized the three words "fiancé" on purpose. Chen Yihan looked at Chufan, causing Gu Jin's mood to darken quite a bit, as if his own belongings were being scrutinized over and over again.
Chen Yihan uttered the name, "Chu Fan..." Pause. She slightly bowed her head and said, "Good morning, Young Master Chu."
Cen Xiuzhi walked down the stairs and approached Gu Jin. He took a tissue and wiped the sweat off his forehead. Then, he turned to the maid and said, "Go and bring the dishes from the kitchen."
Gu Jin asked Cen Xiu, "What dish?"
Sweet and sour cabbage, bitter melon with scrambled eggs, and rice," Chen Xiuzhi smiled, "I made it this morning, still not very skilled, I don't know if you'll like it."
The others were all having pancakes and milk. With such a small amount of food, how could Gu Jin, who was in a critical period of growth, possibly feel full?
Madam Gu was surprised and exclaimed, "Fan Yi can cook these home-cooked dishes?"
"After all, we will be living together in the future, so it's not a bad idea to learn a little more."
After the maid brought the dishes, Gu Jin picked up his chopsticks and tasted a bit. His eyes immediately lit up and he quickly devoured the food. Cen Xiuzhi was afraid he would choke, so he patted his back and whispered in his ear, "After we finish eating, I'll take you to see something interesting."
If Cen Xiuzhi's estimation of time is not wrong, Su Che should take action now while everyone is having their meal.
In the past, Gu Jin always had a lackluster look at the dining table. Now, it is completely different from before. They all looked at each other with confusion and disbelief in their eyes.
Only Chen Yihan buried her head, biting into a pancake, her gaze silently sweeping across the plate of sweet and sour cabbage.
