Actually Saxon predicted all these before Winnie raised her hand. Thus he did not try to escape the slap because he knew what he did today had scared her. So he hoped this slap would make her feel better.

Winnie was shocked by her slap. The numb feeling from her beating palm reminded her how hard she had struck a slap on Saxon.

Looking at Saxon’s red and swollen face, Winnie became very frightened.

In the last life, she used to quarrel with him because she felt Saxon did not love her. She was then so angry that she also tried a few times to lift her hand to slap him.

But Saxon was an experienced army trained man. His reaction and movement speed was swifter than ordinary people. So before she did that, her action was firmly stopped.

Nevertheless, Winnie felt shocked because no matter in the previous or in this life, it was the first time she beat Saxon.

Winnie’s face went pale. She kept on comforting herself that it was his fault and that she could be pardoned doing so during their first meeting. Her hands were clenched firmly.

She tried hard to appear calm though she was actually frightened inside. She warned him straightly, "I am not a woman of that kind. If Master Fu wanted to flirt with someone, you can go to others! Dare Master Fu do that again, I will have to tell your father!"

Saxon could not help laughing secretly hearing the so called threatening words from Winnie. So he squinted at her saying," Fine. You just go to tell him…"

Such reply choked Winnie at once. Saxon went on murmuring, "Don’t forget what my father said today. Maybe both your father and mine are glad to see us together!"

Winnie stared at Saxon, defiant.

Being so angry though, Winnie looked lovely. Saxon laughed and wanted to touch her black and smooth hair, but Winnie ran away.

Saxon’s hands thus stopped in the air, but he did not care. He laughed instead. He looked up at Winnie determinedly as if telling her he was sure to win her.

He shrugged and told Winnie directly," Actually I hope you go to tell my father…and maybe by doing this our fathers can decide our marriage right away!"

He laughed gently and politely, like a gentleman, though his former bossy behavior showed the opposite.

Thinking of their fathers’ manners to them, Winnie was disappointed. Hurriedly, she stood up and ran upstairs, even forgetting to tidy up her clothes.

This time, Saxon didn’t try to stop her, but stood there smilingly watching her fleeing away. However, Saxon didn’t know that, behind him at the same moment, there was a pair of loving and affectionate eyes watching him all the time.

Coming back to the bedroom, Winnie locked the door and all the windows. She huddled in bed and noticed the bruises on her arms.

She suddenly realized something and sat up lifting her nightgown. There, she found more bruises, black and blue.

She felt like crying and rushed to the bathroom. She turned on the shower and tried to wash away all the marks that Saxon had left on her.

But no matter how hard she tried, she could not get rid of Saxon’s kisses away.

Winnie’s eyes were red when she came out from the bathroom. She could not sleep because her eyes were full of the scenes of Saxon’s terrible behaviors.

She held herself tight. Her heart was as hollow as an abyss. Too many things happened today. Saxon’s attitude to her was out of her expectation. She was wondering why all these happened.

Clearly, she wanted to escape from Saxon this time. Then why did their relationship develop much quicker than in last life?

Winnie tried hard to find the reason. She felt headache. Gradually, deep at night, Winnie went to sleep at last.

However, in her dreams, she was also disturbed. There, Saxon kept on chasing and dragging her. The scene of her tragic death in the previous life appeared repeatedly in her dreams too.

The terrible nightmare woke Winnie up. She cried out and opened her eyes suddenly.

She realized she was dreaming only. Gradually, Winnie was able to calm herself down. She sat up quietly.

She relaxed herself and noticed the clock on the cupboard. It was already 10 AM.

It was so late, and she was surprised. She hurriedly packed up and ran downstairs. She knew her father would criticize her. He hated people got up late.

However, at the door, she hesitated and stepped backward thinking she might see Saxon. Still, she had to go downstairs.

Even after considering for a whole night, Winnie didn’t figure out how to face Saxon. She also worried that their shrewd fathers might notice something between them, so Winnie felt very disturbed and frightened.

Winnie was busy figuring out how to explain if she was asked about their situation.

However, to her complete relief, there in the hall, Winnie found only her father Tony.

Winnie came to her father and called gently, "Father…"

Tony looked up at her and asked dryly, "What happened to you and Saxon yesterday?"
