Saxon just wanted to say no when he noticed Winnie picked up her schoolbag and went out of the classroom without even turning around to look at him.
People present could see Sherry was very close to him putting her hand on his shoulder, but Winnie paid no attention to it as if they were transparent.
Saxon witnessed Winnie go away and felt disappointed. He remembered Winnie was not this way in the last life. At that time, whenever he was a little close to Sherry, she would feel sad.
But now…
Saxon was disturbed and lost in thought.
Sherry noticed Saxon paid no attention to her but looked straight at the direction Winnie went. She was very disappointed in her mind, but she tried to appear calm and smiled frigidly.
She went on requesting coquettishly, "Saxon, what are you looking at? How about eating out tonight…"
Feeling the hand on his shoulder, Saxon turned around and gazed straight at Sherry. Sherry was surprised seeing Saxon’s cold eyesight, so freezing. She trembled but her hand was still on Saxon’s shoulder. Saxon glanced at her hand on his shoulder and smiled charmingly, which attracted Sherry so much and drove away her terror.
But suddenly Saxon’s facial expression turned as cold as a freezing ice knife. He said to her drily, "Take your hand away from my shoulder…"
Sherry was so frightened that she took her hand away without thinking. She looked straight at Saxon and forced a smile to hide her embarrassment.
She tried to be light-hearted and asked, "Saxon, what happened? Why do you suddenly change to be so serious? I almost failed to recognize you…"
Actually she wanted to ease the atmosphere. But to her surprise, Saxon didn’t want to leave leeway to her.
He squinted at her coldly and informed her directly, "I suppose you should have never known me, before, at present or in the future…"
Sherry was dumbfounded. She stood there, eyes widely open. After quite some time, she came to herself and asked tremblingly, "Saxon, what’s the matter…"
She dared not to study what Saxon meant, because she knew obviously that Saxon didn’t not like to have any connection with her.
She supposed Saxon would give her face because they knew each other from young and their families were in close relationship.
It’s out of her expectation that Saxon even refused to pay perfunctory attention to her. He just frowned at her and told her directly, "I mean I don’t want to have any connection with you from now on. We’d better keep a distance. We are only ordinary classmates.
Deep in his heart, he told himself he must remember not to lose his wife any more in this life. Winnie’s pretty and tender figure appeared in his mind. Saxon’s eyesight turned gentle and soft.
Sherry was there watching Saxon. Her heart was like falling in an abyss. She knew it was not because of her that Saxon looked gentle and soft. She tried to control her anger, but she could not help picturing in her mind when she just entered the classroom, Saxon was looking at …gently and affectionately…
Sherry’s face went pale but she could not help asking him weakly, "Are you really in love with the girl sitting beside you?"
Sherry didn’t know how she finished the question but she clearly read out the answer from Saxon’s calm eyesight. So two words lingered on her mind, "It’s over."
Saxon didn’t conceal his heart and gave her a straight answer, "Yes!"
As soon as she heard this word, she felt it was dark suddenly. She tried to wake herself up. She really wanted to know why things changed so quickly. She lost contact with Saxon for only half a month. Before that he had cared for her so much.
She informed him again one by one word in a trembling voice, "But …I transferred here for the sake of you…"
