Edward walked Jasmine back to her room, saw her take a warm shower, change clean clothes, and sat calmly. Only then did he put his mind at rest.

"Is Amanda finding fault with you?" Edward broke silence first.

"Probably." Jasmine wiped her wet hair. Thinking of offending Edward so much, however, his still caring for herself, Jasmine felt a little shamed.

"How would you like to pay her back? Let me help you." Edward felt resentful. How could his girl be bullied by others?

"No, I’m good. I have no evidence, either." Jasmine sighed helplessly.

"I told you on the plane that I would handle it, and I have sent someone to warn her. I didn’t expect it didn’t work." Said Edward, "Next time I will give her a lesson directly."

Jasmine felt her forehead. Did Edward do her a disservice so that Jasmine became more aggressive against her?

"Knock, knock, knock."

Then there were knocks on the door.

"Mr. President, and Miss Shu. It is me, Brad."

Jasmine stood up, opened the door for Brad, and wondered what he wanted.

"Miss Shu, last time we helped you terminate your former contract and dismiss your agent. However, since you signed with Pictures Entertainment Company, we haven’t arranged a new agent for you because Edward was busy at filming." Brad explained to Jasmine why she didn’t get a new agent yet. "The company will send you an agent as well as an assistant at your service tomorrow morning."

"Okay, got it." Jasmine wondered if an agent stayed with her for the next few days, would she not be messed up so much by Amanda? And she would not single-handedly fight against Amanda in future.

"I’m done. Would you excuse me." Brad didn’t want to stay any longer, for he knew that he was wasting Edward’s time. After all, every minute of the wedding night was precious. And Edward might deduct his wages if he stayed any longer. Thinking of this, Brad promptly stepped backward out of the room and closed the door.

The room became silent again as long as Brad left.

"You got bullied because I failed to protect you." Edward uttered first. He felt rather awkward, for it was the first time for him to admit his mistake. "I’m so sorry."

"It is me who should apologize." Jasmine felt ashamed.

Looking at her frowned face, Edward couldn’t bear to blame her. "You didn’t do anything wrong. Don’t apologize."

Hearing this, Jasmine became more ashamed, and almost buried her face into her chest.

"Don’t blame yourself." Edward said, cuddled Jasmine, and brought her down on bed.

"Please don’t." Said Jasmine. Although she wasn’t disgusted with him as before, she was rather afraid to have sex with him. "I’m exhausted."

"I just want to cuddle you, and I won’t do anything else." Said Edward. He buried his head into her chest, and sniffed her fragrance. Although he wanted sex desperately, he had to care about her feelings.

Reluctantly looking at the big man, Jasmine would always break the bottom line between man and woman every time meeting him, but fail to turn him down. When he said, "You are my girl." Although she still thought he was bossy as well as stupid, she wasn’t disgusted with him as before. She didn’t know it was good or bad.

For Edward and Jasmine, it was a night of a sound sleep. But for Amanda, she tossed and turned in bed all night. The scene that Edward forced a kiss on Jasmine appeared in her mind once she closed eyes. It drove her so crazy that she couldn’t fall asleep.

The relationship between Jasmine and Edward eased a bit, and they didn’t treat each other indifferently. However, they had no time further the relationship, either. They both were busy at filming.

"Jasmine, Edward’s and your scenes in the studio have been almost done, and we are going to shoot an outdoor scene. We are going to a cliff. Be prepared." Said the director.

Hearing this, Jasmine didn’t expect it would come so soon, though she had read a cliff scene on the script. As a good actress, not only should she play well in the studio, but she should also be calm in the face of various dangerous situations.

"Ha-ha, God gives me a second chance." Amanda plotted a scheme beside. This time, she would make Jasmine in real trouble!

As darkness fell, the crew had already knocked off and been resting, and Lily sneaked out of her room in the dark. She aimed at Amanda’s room. Thinking of what Amanda had said to her in the day, she was a bit excited.

"Lily, come to my room tonight. I will show you something interesting."

However, after getting to Amanda’s room, Lily started hesitating.

It turned out that Amanda planed to loosen soil on the cliff, and then sprinkle water on it, so that Jasmine would slip and fall off the cliff while stepping on it.

"Are we really going to do it, sis?" After contacting Amanda, Lily was a bit concerned. Although she rather hated Jasmine as well, what if the plot was exposed?

Then Amanda texted someone over her cellphone. Shortly, she got a video call.

"Amanda, we are processing it as your order." A male’s voice came from the phone.

"Then show me." Said Amanda.

On the edge of a cliff, someone was loosening soil with a hoe while sprinkling water on it.

"Good job. I will wire you the money later." Amanda said, and the hung up the phone.

In the dark, Amanda grasped her cellphone and gave a brittle laugh. "Jasmine will definitely be trapped tomorrow!"
