Wayne seemed to be truly happy and at ease when he’s with Lindsey. The last time Jane had seen this smiley face of his was over a decade ago.

Jane’s heart ached as the guy ignored her and just didn’t stop chatting with Lindsey. Being a toy girl, she knew she couldn’t ask more.

“Hello, Jane. Have lunch together?” Lindsey noticed her and greeted. She knew this girl was Wayne’s unforgettable first love.

After taking a glance at the strikingly pretty face, Lindsey understood why Wayne was still not able to let the girl go for all these years.

But Lindsey was aware of the concept that everyone had his or her past and the so-called first love was only a “had been”.

In Lindsey’s opinion, Jane was nothing more that a pretty girl who was useless for Wayne’s business.

On the other hand, she--Lindsey--was a perfect partner for him to survive in fierce competitions and achieve successes.

“Well, thanks, I’m not hungry. I had too much for breakfast.” Jane winked at them with sincere bright eyes, turned around and went into her office.

Lindsey chuckled. Now she really despised the girl for she thought Jane was by no means not sophisticated and had nothing but a pretty face.

However, the moment she tried to take Wayne’s hand and leave, the man followed Jane into the office, grabbed her arm and pulled her out.

”Let’s go.” Wayne said to Lindsey. Then they arrived at a famous Japanese restaurant which had just won its third Michelin star.

The owner of the restaurant was a personal friend of Wayne’s and he offered a private room.

Lindsey and Jane sat down at both sides of Wayne.

“Lucky you.” The owner winked at Wayne.

“Come on, buddy, have lunch with us.” Wayne invited him to join them and have a nice meal together.

The owner was a playboy and he knew what these two women truly meant to Wayne after having a few conversations.

“Wayne, do you still remember the place we have been to during our trip in Japan? We ate tons of the same kind of sushi, which was extremely delicious.” Lindsey deliberately brought about the story exclusive for the guy and her.

They had been to many places together and shared numerous memories, all of these were irrelevant with Jane.

“Emm, indeed. Those were delicious.” As for Wayne, Lindsey meant a lot to him. She was like his family--a dear sister--or a tutor for his business.

Jane kept silent during the entire lunch. She felt she was nothing to Wayne as long as the woman--Lindsey--was around him. The reason she sat here might be that she was a toy girl on whom he spent 100 million dollars.

“Try these. These are my superlative sea urchins imported from Japan. Just arrived this morning. Here, take this one.” The owner gave Lindsey a sea urchin.

While in the meantime, Wayne had already selected one for Jane.

Lindsey smiled and chatted with Jane during the meal, but she was fermenting means to get rid of the young girl.

“You’re too naive to beat me.”
