Saxon’s appearance scared all the people present. Though he was still young, he looked calm and cool. The sneer from his eyesight hushed the noising people there. And they left the place. Saxon gave them a contemptuous smile and turned around to Winnie. He wanted to comfort her.

To his surprise, Winnie didn’t appear grieved. She was glaring at him angrily!

Saxon was annoyed and just wanted to say something but he saw Winnie turn to the classroom door. Before he realized what happened, she rushed to the person coming in. It was Sherry wearing earphones. Winnie stood in front of her. Sherry stopped and took off her earphones slowly.

Winnie whispered to her, “Come out with me.”

Sherry’s eyes lit up, but instantly she pretended to look surprised and asked, “What’s the matter?”

Winnie felt sick at her reaction. With the experience from last life, she could discern her hypocrisy. She gave her a mere smile and a meaningful look. Then she said, “I suppose you should know…” After that, without waiting for Sherry’s response, she passed her and went outside.

Sherry was at a loss. She didn’t know what had happened. She turned around and met Saxon’s eyesight. She nodded at him and shrugged her shoulders. Then she followed Winnie out.

At the instant she turned around, she twisted her mouth corner into an evil smile secretly, which looked quite different from her normal lady-like appearance.

Saxon sat at his seat watching outside at them. He could not hear what they were talking, but from Winnie’s expression and Sherry’s action, he could tell that Winnie believed it was Sherry who did it.

Saxon’s eyesight turned to the carving on the desk. He was amused to see the small tricks by the people of this age to revenge on others.

However, he cared about Winnie. He looked out at the two girls. He stood up and sighed.

Winnie got to the balcony first. She knew Sherry would follow. It’s true. Sherry did arrive two minutes later. Winnie heard the door behind her opened. She didn’t turn around but asked directly, “You did it on my desk, didn’t you?”

Sherry looked surprised and asked Winnie, “Early in the morning, what are you speaking? I know nothing about it. Why did you convict me of such a wrongdoing?”

Winnie’s looked at her more sharply saying, “I just mentioned my desk. If you really knew nothing about it, how did you know I convicted you instead of thanking you for sending me a flower?”

Sherry was dumbfounded and widely opened her eyes. She studied Winnie’s pretty face for quite a while. Her innocent look disappeared. She looked at Winnie with contempt. She smiled coldly and replied, “Well done. You dared to set a trap to me…” And then she went on, “You are right. I did it. So what?”

Winnie was shocked by Sherry’s changeable expressions. She frowned and replied, “I think we just met each other yesterday. I cannot understand why are you so hostile to me?”

Sherry sneered. She put her hands into her pocket. She showed no sign of a lady but more like a picara in the street. She walked up close to Winnie and said smilingly, “Aren’t you clever? Then why do you think I hate you so much?”

Winnie stayed calm to face challenging Sherry. She studied Sherry’s face and then answered lightly, “Because of Saxon.” Sherry was surprised but she looked appreciating. She nodded, “Yes. You are smart.”

Suddenly, Sherry dragged Winnie’s hand and slapped herself heavily.

Winnie’s hand felt numb because of that heavy slap. She looked up and was shocked. Tears were bursting out from Sherry’s eyes. She was crying sadly.

Winnie was dumbfounded. She didn’t know what had happened.

The door opened and in came Saxon. Winnie understood. Her mouth twisted into a contemptuous sneer.

In the last life, Sherry had tried these dirty tricks many times. In this life, she didn’t make any progress and remained the same way.

But different from the last life, Winnie was not the same person. Before, she used to care about Saxon. She even used to kneel and beg him.

Winnie looked up at Saxon sarcastically. She just stood there as a bystander waiting to see what Sherry might perform in front of her.
