Fu Yuye didn't say much to me before someone came to find him. After all, it's his birthday, he can't be absent for even a moment.

That night, I didn't really participate in their mischief. Firstly, they were playing a bit too recklessly. The games these rich and privileged young masters come up with have no limits. In a few more years, it might even become worse. It's probably because Fu Yuye has never shown this side of him in front of me, so I was a bit surprised. But luckily, they are not familiar with me, and maybe it's because they respect Fu Yuye's face and dare not make jokes at my expense. I can't help but think that the reason why no one dares to play tricks on Fu Yuye is because they fear the repercussions. So I guess I am safe as well.

When it was late at night and the young masters and misses were reluctant to leave, the only one who stayed was the boy who smoked with Fu Yuye. It was only at this moment, under the lights, that I saw him wearing a tattered white sweater, slouching in the armchair. The collar of the sweater was a bit loose, revealing a large expanse of collarbone.

Unfortunately, Fu Yuye did not have a good expression on his face when he sent the guest away and came back to rush him.

Seeing this, the young man pitifully frowned. Despite having the appearance of a charming young nobleman, he could still manage to make such an expression. He pleaded with Fu Yuye to let him stay for the night, as if he was a sight to behold.

Fu Yuye didn't agree, so he aimed the artillery at me. I quickly took out the gift from my bag, indicating that I would leave immediately.

Fu Yuye didn't let me leave, but instead took out his phone to make a call.

The boy immediately sat up straight and asked Fu Yuye what he wanted.

Fu Yuye was lazy the whole night, and he still was at this moment. Someone told him that if he stayed a second longer, they would send someone to pick him up.

Perhaps that person's name is quite intimidating.

The threat worked effectively, and the boy immediately stood up from the royal chair. Before leaving, he flipped Fu Yuye off with his middle finger, his action sinister and completely different from his appearance.

I have prepared a pair of blue light-blocking radiation glasses.

He often stares at the computer and reads books, so he happened to pass by a glasses store and bought a pair. This pair of glasses looks ordinary, but it's actually quite expensive. At least, I can't bring myself to buy them for myself.

But tonight, seeing the pile of gift boxes he had placed in the corner of the living room, I suddenly felt hesitant about the gifts I had given him. Fu Yuye proudly wore them on his face - he had a high nose bridge, three-dimensional features, and when he put on glasses, he exuded an air of a studious scholar, resembling an excellent student in both character and academics.

He blinked at me behind the lens, then slightly lowered his head, using his finger to push the lens below his eye. He raised one eyebrow and said to me, "Teacher."

I smiled and watched his childish actions, instinctively giving an "hmm" sound, thinking that he had something to say to me.

But he just called out my name and looked at me with his pale-colored pupils. He was not a naive and innocent child, nor a pure and innocent teenager. He had just turned seventeen this year, an age as sweet and fragrant as wine. Moreover, he had a face that seemed to be blessed by God, and, not to mention, he was standing so close to me.

I watched as he approached little by little. Outside the window, the night was filled with the still flickering neon lights. In the living room, the remnants of the celebration fireworks were still scattered on the dining table. There was nowhere for me to lean on behind me, but it felt as if there was no way out, as if I was trapped in place.

    Waiting for a trial.

It was then that I realized that he could easily touch my face, his chin brushing against my nose bridge, his lips touching my forehead.

    "Thank you."

In an instant, I felt as if time and space had ceased to exist. However, I could still sense my own slight movements as I took a breath. I also noticed that the wind was picking up outside, causing the neon lights to sway on the pillar.

The flag flutters in the wind, but cannot resist the movement within the heart.
