Blurredly, Winnie opened her eyes, and the ceiling above her came to her eyes first. She then felt the soft bed under her. Reaching out her hand to touch something near, she suddenly widely opened her eyes and sat up.

She reached out and watched both her hands, white and tender, belonging to her when she was young. What was the matter? Didn’t she die in a sea of fires?

Winnie moistened her lips with saliva as she was feeling some uncertain fear in her heart. Looking around her, she was surprised to notice the bedroom was exactly the same as the one in her senior middle school time.

Hurriedly, Winnie got off bed and walked to the mirror. She was totally dumbfounded when she saw clearly the one in the mirror.

She widely opened her eyes and touched the face in the mirror which looked still tender and young. She pinched hard on the face, a sudden strong pain transmitted to her own face. There in the mirror her face went red all over.

Seeing all these, Winnie tried to conceal herself not to shout out. It was clear the one in the mirror was she herself when she was in the senior middle school wearing long and smooth hair without being dyed or permed. The white and tender face looked young and naïve. In addition, the clean and clear eyes were brimming with radiating vigor showing that she was such a carefree girl without a single worry. Not like in the previous life she looked so sad and sorrowful.

Winnie’s eyesight came to the date on the clock on the wall. She realized that she was reborn. She had gone back to the time ten years before she first met Saxon Fu.

Maybe God really knew everything about her. He had heard what she wished before death in the previous life and allowed her to be reborn to this world again. She clenched her hand on the side and her eyes brimmed firmly and brightly. Before the housekeeper granny could say something, Winnie buried herself into Granny’s arms. The housekeeper was shocked at this. She looked down at the young lady holding her tightly. Reaching out her hand to smooth her soft hair, she asked amiably, "Yes? What is it?"

Hearing such concerning words, Winnie felt tears coming out of her eyes. The housekeeper cared about her much. When she just married Saxon in the previous life, she used to worry about her that she might be unhappy in her marriage.

But she was then too naïve and Saxon occupied her eyes and mind. She supposed then her love could soften everything. But at last, the result did like what Granny expected. She was really unhappy.

Winnie stayed in the granny’s arms. She shook her head and murmured, "Nothing actually…..I just miss you…..and just want to hold up to you…"

Hearing these, the granny smiled lovingly and asked softly, "Then why did you suddenly become pettish…"

Slowly, she withdrew from the granny. She rose up, wiped her eyes and looked at the granny’s familiar and amiable face. She smiled big and brightly from her heart. She tried to answer lightly, "Nothing. I just want to be close to you…"

Blankly, the granny looked at her red eyes. However, she believed Winnie was excited meeting an old friend long time no see because she smiled there so brightly not seeming sorrowful at all.

The granny was still confused actually: how could such an 18-year old girl be so emotional. And clearly enough, she just met her yesterday.

She shook her head and laughed. She touched her nose saying, "go downstairs quickly. Mr. Shen is waiting for you down there."

Winnie was a little surprised. She had some strange feeling about her father. In the last life, her father actually didn’t agree her to marry Saxon. Like the granny, he also thought she would suffer marrying a man she didn’t love.

However, she insisted. In the end, she obeyed her will but she also wasted her will.
