NO! It was not like that…not what you saw. William, you should…not leave.

When knowing William leaving no eyes for her, Jane was so sad. She really wanted to stop him and hug him to explain what had happened in the garden. She really wanted to tell him that “You are the one I love, the only one.”

However, she could not do that since she could do nothing when there was Jack. Jane’s throat was tightened. Looking at the back of leaving William, she could say nothing as if she was pinched by others.

However, Jane thought it maybe the best for them. The love of Jane to William was so hard with so many considerations since there was so much hardship between them, including Jack, the Mrs. Swift, Summer and Babe, so it was so hard for Jane to fall in love with William. One of the facts that Summer loved William deeply could shake Jane. Summer must be so sad when she fell in love with him.

Jane was reluctant to hurt Summer, letting alone betraying. In the eyes of Jane, Summer was gentle and nice and she gave her a warmth of family, so she did cherish the rare friendship.

Then, there was the Mrs. Swift. She would never allow William to marry Jane. Jane had stayed with Jack for years, so the outsiders who knew nothing about them would deem her as the woman of Jack even though he never slept with her. Jane, a little person without identity, position or background, could be a pet, and the Mrs. Swift would never agree that she entered their family as an identity of the young hostess. Jane knew it clearly.

As to Jack, he would doubt once Jane did not follow his order. Blake was controlled by Jack and he was the master of her whole family. Jane was a girl of Blake, so she could not let Jack ruin her family. The most important thing was that William was not that powerful to fight against Jack, so Jack must hurt William if she betrayed him and chose William.

Jane did not dare to risk the safety of William. The only one thing she could do was to give up their relationship. Back to the original was the best ending to William and Jane herself.

Jane thought she should pass William to Summer since she had worked with him and loved him for years. Summer must be the best choice for William. She was so gentle and considerate, so she must take good care of William. Jane clearly knew that there won’t be promising future with William and she could guess the ending from the first day they had met.

“Let’s enter the hall to see how are they going.” Jack did not know that Jane was in pain.He led Jane to the hall in a few minutes after William’s leaving.

Several minutes before, William walked from the garden to the hall with heavy steps, and then he was found by the Mrs. Swift and Babe on the sofa when he entered.

Babe had been attracted by William when he occurred. She could not help sighing that how could there be such a beautiful person in the world. The man in front of her was so tall, and there was no feminine feeling in his delicate and perfect face. William was so cool and his eyes and brows looked like a picture, which could perfectly match the fantasy of Babe to her Mr. Right. There was no doubt that Babe fell in love with William at the first sight. She became so excited when William walked to them and then she hurried to stand up from the sofa to show the perfect figure. However, it was just a wishful thinking of Babe. William was so mad when he found the intimate interaction between Jane and Jack, but he did not show it out. It had been a peak for William to pretend to be nothing, so he did not see such a beautiful lady making a gesture.

“Grandma, I am back.” William said hello to Mrs. Swift and he ignored Babe. Babe became so embarrassed, but she could not show the bad temper.

“William, you are home now. Come and sit with me.” Mrs. Swift asked William to have a seat with a smile. She said, “Why don't you come home to see grandma these days?”

William did not want to chat with Mrs. Swift, so he just asked. “Grandma, it is heard that you have something for me. So, what’s that?” “Daring, can’t I just see you if I have nothing to me?” Mrs. Swift said with good mood as if she was a kind grandmother who loved her grandchildren so much.

Mrs. Swift did not hide it and she dragged the Babe who trying to keep a good gesture, talking with William, “This is a lady from the Daivs, Babe. You are about in the same age, so you should communicate with each other.”

William understood Mrs. Swift, but he said nothing, so there was a rejection obviously.

Mrs. Swift found the silent William and then she continued, “William, you are not young and it is time to find someone to take care of you. You should not blame on me since I just do it for you. I think Babe is good, and you guys could have feeling when staying with each other for a longer time.” Mrs. Swift continued her speech without waiting for the reaction of William. “Babe, come to say hello with your William.” Babe hurried to talk to William, so she could not wait to speak with him when Mrs. Swift just finished her words.

“Hello, William!” Babe pretended to be a sweet and nice voice. She looked at William straightly with a perfect smile. She struggled to behave well and she stretched out to shake hand with William.

William hated that kind of woman so much, but he did not show his unhappiness and disgusting for the long-term disguise.

William did not want to shake hand with Babe, but he changed his mind when peeking at the entering Jane and Jack.

William dragged the hand of Babe to make a hand kiss, but he did not kiss it really, just for show.

“You are Babe, right? What a lovely name, cute as you.”

It was also the words William intentionally said to Jane.
